The initiation of the cleanliness drive taken up by the CKAM, is now been recognized and has started achieving its result, as two villages viz. Sikdamakha in West Karbi Anglong and Bonsai Shyam Gaon, Balipathar have already been recognized to be amongst the cleanest villages in Assam. Also, Diphu Civil Hospital, has been conferred with the award for Cleanest Hospital in 2016..
Situated at the magnificient landscape at the newly created West Karbi Anglong District, Sikdamakha cames to limelight as the nation's top newspaper articles about the activity undertaken by the villagers dwelled by the Tiwa Community.
Another important recognition is the Bonsai Shyam Village, Balipathar, Karbi Anglong. Situated near the NH-39, the small Man Tai habited village have taken up the cleanliness drive and now recognized amongst the cleanest village in Karbi Anglong District.
