Contribute generously  for sucessful  implementation of CKAM

As an individual, one can contribute a lot towards the successful implementation of Clean Karbi Anglong Mission by bringing about the behavioural change in oneself and people around us, with regard to sanitation. One should inculcate cleanliness as a habit. Not throwing garbage on the roadside, maintaining clean environment in-and- around one’s home and in the neighbourhood. Disposal of waste materials is to be done scientifically such as, segregation of bio-degradable and non-biodegradable wastes. Biodegradable includes vegetables peel off, dry leaves, dead plants, papers, etc. which can be converted into useful compost at home. This compost can be used as manure to enhance the fertility of soil for cultivation of kitchen garden, flower garden etc. Non- biodegradable wastes such as things made of plastics, iron, lying abundant in the house is to be collected for recycling process. By proper use of wastes disposal dustbins in public as well as in private areas, planting more trees and social forestry can accelerate the mission to a whole new level.
